PPKS Warszawa goes in Piaseczno

The offer of Przedsiębiorstwo Państwowej Komunikacji Samochodowej w Warszawie has won a tender to serve local bus lines L in the Piaseczno commune. “Elki” will run from May, 4. They will connect the PKP Piaseczno railway station with places Złotokłos and Bobrowiec.
PPKS Warszawa competed for this contract as the only one. The company proposed PLN 2.48 net (PLN 2.65 gross) for one bus-kilometer. The carrier will have to make about 170,000 bus-kilometers by buses taking at least 40 passengers (with 15 seating places).
Buses from Złotokłos to Bobrowiec will run between May 4 and December 31, 2010 within the following routes:
L-2: PKP Piaseczno – Dworcowa – Stołeczna – Pod Bateriami – Gołków – Gołkowska – Gołków-Letnisko – Lipowa – Głosków-Szkolna – Milenium – Radnych – Runów – Solidarności – Henryków-Urocze – Solidarności – Złotokłos – Społeczna – 3 Maja – Złotokłos (3 Maja) – Złotokłos – Piaseczyńska – Wólka Pracka – Ogrodowa – Baszkówka – Sadowa – Głosków – Milenium – Radnych – Gołków-Letnisko – Radnych – Gołków – Zielona – Gołkowska – Piaseczno – Pod Bateriami – Stołeczna – Sienkiewicza – Dworcowa – PKP Piaseczno.
L-5: PKP Piaseczno – Dworcowa – Stołeczna – Pod Bateriami – Gołków – Gołkowska – Gołków-Letnisko – Piaseczno – Główna – Kamionka – Główna – Bobrowiec – Bobrowiecka – Mazowiecka – Bobrowiec.
Owing to the lines L-2 and L-5, the passengers will get fast connection with the railway station in Piaseczno and comfortable changes to the lines 709 and 727. During the rush hour the L-2 line will run every 60 minutes on weekdays and the L-5 line – every 30-minutes.
Integrated Ticket will be valid in buses of Piaseczno. Only ZTM tickets which are valid in the second zone will be honored (90-day, 30-day (except of one-line tickets), 1-day, 3-day, 7-day ones, senior personal passes). Besides, one can travel with a ticket issued by the carrier which won the tender.
