Bus lane on the AK route
A new bus lane in Warsaw started to be in use at night from April 30 to May 1. Public transport buses have 1.5 kilometer long fast corridor at the Trasa Armii Krajowej Street between the Słowackiego and Wisłostrada Streets (towards the Grot-Rowecki bridge) at their disposal.
The bus lane is in use during the whole day. It has not affected traffic of private cars because it was delineated on an emergency lane functioning there so far. It may also be used by licensed taxis.
The bus lane was delineated in a place where there are traffic jams especially during the rush hour. Now buses may pass them and, as a result, the passengers save their time.
