Ticket machines crossed borders
Ticket machines will be available not only in the capital city itself but also beyond its borders. Between the end of July and the beginning of August the Mint of Poland placed the ticket machine at the train stop in Sulejówek. At the beginning of September the other one will be placed in Piastów.
At present there are 71 ticket machines of the Mint in Warsaw and in the neighborhood. In the past few weeks, the devices have been installed at Dworzec Wileński, at al. Jerozolimskie next to Dworzec Centralny, by the entrances to the Warszawa Ochota station, as well as at the train stop in Sulejówek (the first ticket machine outside Warsaw). Right now some devices are placed at ul. Górczewska, next to the exits from Dworzec Śródmieście, at tram stops by Dworzec Centralny at al. Jana Pawła II and at al. Jerozolimskie by DH Smyk. The Mint of Poland also plans to put ticket machines at al. Krakowska and at ul. Bora-Komorowskiego. In September the first ticket machine will also appear in Ursus.
In Warsaw there are also 14 ticket machines of the ASEC company, which are situated at underground stations.
By the end of the year, the Mint will have installed 160 devices altogether and ASEC – 100 of them. By the end of August 2010, another 100 ticket machines of the Mint of Poland will have been installed.
