From July 1, personal tickets on the personalized WKM!

Warsaw Transport Authority reminds that, in accordance with the resolution passed by the council of the capital city, from July, 1 personal long-term tickets are valid solely on the personalized Warsaw City Card or an Electronic Student Card. Passengers who have not had a carrier with a picture and data marked on it permanently yet, can get it in the ZTM Passenger Service Centers or via Internet.
Personal tickets coded on the non-personalized WKM were honored only till June, 30 2010. From July, 1 personal 30- or 90-day contract as well as Senior Personal Pass on the “old” card hand signed by an owner will be considered as invalid during ticket inspection in means of public transport and a passenger will be requested to pay an additional charge.
ZTM still issues personalized Warsaw City Cards. Passengers can get a personalized carrier on the spot in all ZTM Passenger Service Centers (you need to take a paper passport-size picture and a document confirming your identity) or order it via Internet – on the website personalizacja.ztm.waw.pl (card receipt is possible after a few days in a chosen PSC).
A personal ticket may be transferred from an “old” card to a new personalized WKM without charges in two ZTM Passenger Service Centers – near the Metro Centrum station (from Monday to Friday between 7.00 a.m. and 8.00 p.m. and on Saturday between 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m.) as well as at ul. Senatorska 37 (Monday – Friday, 7.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m.).
Changing a carrier after receiving summons to pay an additional charge does not cancel the summons.
Let us to remind you! An Electronic Student Card may be a personalized ticket carrier. That is why personal long-term ZTM tickets will still be encoded and honored on an Electronic Student Card after June 30, 2010.
