Shorter city-cross line
On June 1 this year the next stage of modernization of the Warszawa Stadion train stop started. The suburban city-cross line was closed and trains are not running between Dworzec Wschodni and Dworzec Śródmieście. The works should be finished by July 24. The stop will be adapted to the needs of persons who have difficulties with moving – lifts and escalators will be built. Platforms will be rebuilt and roofed. Underpasses and tracks will be modernized. Works (the costs are of 64 million. PLN) will have been finished by November.
