On 1 June, trains will connect the airport with the center

Welcome to Warsaw. The train goes to Sulejówek – Miłosna direction. To the Fans Area – get off on the stop Warszawa Śródmieście. To the National Stadium – get off on the stop Warszawa Stadion – in such a way, in Polish, English, Russian and Greek languages, fans who come to Poland for the EURO 2012, will be welcomed in the trains of Szybka Kolej Miejska [Rapid Urban Railway] on the Warsaw Chopin Airport rail stop. On 1 June, first trains connecting the National Stadium and the capital center with the Chopin Airport will go on the route.
On 1 June 2012 a new railway connection, guaranteeing a quick and convenient travel on the sections Warsaw Chopin Airport – center of Warsaw – Warsaw Chopin Airport, will be started.
The National Stadium can be reached on the SKM [Rapid Urban Railway] and KM [Mazovian Railways] trains
The railway connection will be operated by two carriers – Szybka Kolej Miejska [Rapid Urban Railway] and Koleje Mazowieckie [Mazovian Railways].
SKM (Rapid Urban Railway) S2 line, currently running on the section Warszawa Zachodnia – Sulejówek Miłosna, will be extended to the rail station Warsaw Chopin Airport. From 1 June the SKM line S2 will be operating on the route: WARSAW CHOPIN AIRPORT – Warszawa Służewiec – Warszawa Żwirki i Wigury – Warszawa Rakowiec – Warszawa Aleje Jerozolimskie – Warszawa Zachodnia – Warszawa Ochota – Warszawa Śródmieście – Warszawa Powiśle – Warszawa Stadion – Warszawa Wschodnia – Warszawa Rembertów – Warszawa Wesoła – Warszawa Wola Grzybowska – Sulejówek – SULEJÓWEK MIŁOSNA. Trains will pass the whole route in approximately 50 minutes. From the airport, the center of Warsaw shall be reached in 25 minutes.
On 1 June a new line of Szybka Kolei Miejska [Rapid Urban Railway] – S3 will be also started and it will run on the route Warsaw Chopin Airport – Legionowo via Warsaw Central railway station. These trains will travel on the route: WARSAW CHOPIN AIRPORT – Warszawa Służewiec – Warszawa Żwirki i Wigury – Warszawa Rakowiec – Warszawa Aleje Jerozolimskie – Warszawa Zachodnia – Warszawa Centralna – Warszawa Wschodnia – Warszawa Praga – Warszawa Toruńska – Warszawa Żerań – Warszawa Płudy – Warszawa Choszczówka – Legionowo – LEGIONOWO PIASKI. The pass of the whole route, realized via Warsaw Central railway station, will take less than one hour. Selected S3 line trains will pass via the station of Warszawa Śródmieście and will stop on the following rail stops WARSAW CHOPIN AIRPORT – Warszawa Służewiec – Warszawa Żwirki i Wigury – Warszawa Rakowiec – Warszawa Aleje Jerozolimskie – Warszawa Zachodnia – Warszawa Ochota – Warszawa Śródmieście – Warszawa Powiśle – Warszawa Stadion – Warszawa Wschodnia – Warszawa Praga – Warszawa Toruńska – Warszawa Żerań – Warszawa Płudy – Warszawa Choszczówka – Legionowo – LEGIONOWO PIASKI. Trains will pass the whole route in approximately 55 minutes.
The Mazovian Railway trains will run on the section Warszawa Wschodnia – Warszawa Lotnisko Chopina.
Trains of the Mazovian carrier – except two courses, realized via Warszawa Śródmieście (departure from the Warsaw Chopin Airport station at 7.16 and departure from the Warszawa Śródmieście station at 15.54 to the airport direction) – will run via Warsaw Central station. They will omit the following stops: Warszawa Stadion, Warszawa Powiśle, Warszawa Śródmieście and Warszawa Ochota.
Timetable
During the morning and afternoon peak hours, the trains to the Chopin Airport will depart from the city center every 10 – 12 minutes, considering that part of the travels will be realized via Warszawa Śródmieście railway station and part via Warsaw Central railway station. In the opposite direction, which is from the airport to the center, the trains will run with a similar frequency. During off-peak hours, the trains will run every 15 minutes on average. The timetable, valid first of all in the evening hours, will be changed on the days of matches of the European Football Championship.
What tickets to buy?
Public Transport Authority and Mazovian Railways will mutually honor all types of tickets on trains running between the Chopin Airport and the Wschodni Railway Station.
In the KM [Mazovian Railways] trains, on the section Warsaw Chopin Airport – Warszawa Wschodnia, all tickets of the ZTM tariff (including single fare and time-limit tickets) will be honored. In the SKM trains, on the same section, all tickets of the KM [Mazovian Railways] tariff will be honored.
The tickets will be honored from 1 June to 2 July.
