A new ticket tariff will apply from 1 January 2013. All ZTM ticket prices will be changed. Some tickets that are in use at the moment and valid until 31 December 2012 may also be used when a new pricelist is effective. On what terms and conditions?
The basic requirement that has to be met in order to be able to use the tickets under the “old” tariff after 1 January 2013 is that tickets have to be validated or activated before the new ticket tariff is effective which is not later than 31 December 2012 at 23.59. Such tickets will be honoured until their expiration date.
As far as the tickets encoded on the Warsaw City Card are concerned (1-day, 3-day, 30-day and 90-day), encoding maximum two contracts of the same kind will be possible. If you activate the first contract before 1 January 2013 the second one will be activated automatically after the first one is no longer valid.
Tickets validated or activated before 1 January 2013 may be used only until 30 June 2013. The exception is Senior Personal Pass which may be used until 30 December 2013.
If someone doesn’t want to use tickets under the “old tariff” he/she will be able to return them. As far as the returns of tickets are concerned new amended rules will apply. What rules? We will write about it on 11 October.
